Hellenic Academic of York (HAY)

For more than four decades the Hellenic Canadian Community of York Region (HCCY) has been dedicating itself to building up our youth toward higher academic achievement and community excellence through the creation and running of a school the York Hellenic Educational Society (also known as Hellenic Academy of York or “HAY”.
The school operates Saturdays from 9:30am – 2:30pm starting in September and ending in June.
Fees: $795 per student (approx. $26 for each Saturday)
Each family will become a member of the HCCY for an additional $75 annual fee.

The HAY is a charitable organization and received registered charity status under the Income Tax Act on December 12, 2008. The official registration number assigned by the Canada Revenue Agency to the HAY is 839605755 RR0001.
Our Saturday Greek Language Secondary Credit Program focuses on a single credit course in International Languages.
Registration is open to students aged 14 to 18 who are currently enrolled in an Ontario High School.
Students not meeting these requirements are not eligible to register for any courses.
Fees: $495 (September – June)

PAN-MESSINIAN DANCE PROGRAM
In collaboration, the HCCY and the Pan- Messinian Association of Toronto have partnered together to offer the exciting dance program ni Richmond Hill. The program provides children and young adults the opportunity to celebrate their Greek Heritage through dance while building lasting memories!

Basketball
AHEPA Toronto and the HCCY join forces!
Are you looking for activities for your children to join this Fall? Consider AHEPA Basketball every Monday and Fridays! Ahepa Toronto in collaboration with the HCCY will be offering a vibrant youth basketball program, fun for all! Founded in 2010 by Brother Jim Fabrikis, the AHEPA Toronto Youth Basketball program has exploded with great success.
Just under 50 boys and girls from across the GTA and they compete in local Rep basketball tournaments and also travel to compete in tournaments in: Detroit, Windsor, Toronto, Chicago. For any questions please contact us.
